Your privacy choices
Bondie has five optional things. On iPhone these start when you tap Accept at first start; on other phones they are on from the first start. Change them any time in Settings, under App consents. Bondie works the same whichever you choose. This page says what each one sends, why, and to whom. The short version is in the app; the full story is in our Privacy Policy.
Help us see if our ads work
- What is sent: a scrambled version of your email and name, your country, your phone's advertising ID (where it has one), and when you open the app, sign up or subscribe.
- Why: so we can tell which of our ads work.
- Who gets it: Meta, the ad company we use, and RevenueCat, our subscription provider, which reports purchases to Meta.
Help us make Bondie better
- What is sent: which parts of Bondie you use, along with your account.
- Why: so we can make things easier and more enjoyable.
- Who gets it: PostHog, our product analytics service.
Help us fix problems quickly
- What is sent: when something goes wrong, what happened, with your app version, phone model and account. It covers crashes and other errors, never your photos, captions or messages.
- Why: so we can fix it.
- Who gets it: Sentry, our error reporting service.
Add details when you report a problem
- What is sent: when you send us a problem report, your phone details and what you did just before.
- Why: so we can see what went wrong.
- Who gets it: us, in the report we keep. We copy a report into a private GitHub repository only our team can open, and post a notice of it to a team channel on Discord.
Help us support your phone
- What is sent: your phone model, system version, language, app version and app store country. We can still see the country you connect from, even if this is off.
- Why: so we know which phones and places to support.
- Who gets it: us, in our own database.
Other things to know
- How long it is kept: the Privacy Policy explains what we keep and what we ask these services to delete when your account is removed, under Deleting your data.
- Other countries: the companies named above may handle this outside your country.
- Taking it back: open Settings, then App consents, and switch any choice off. We stop sending from then on. We keep a record of what you chose and when, so we can show we respected it.
- Always on: a few things Bondie needs to work, such as signing in, notifications, sending photos and messages, purchases and app updates. They are listed in the Privacy Policy.
- Who is responsible: Gap Linker Technologies Inc. Questions or requests: support@bondieapp.com.
